This week, we’re wrapping up our 4 Core Concepts that we take in our approach to Kyle McMurray Coaching. We’ve talked about You Are Unique, Unlocking You and last week we talked about Unmasking the Lies. Well today, I want to tell you about the fourth Core Concept where it all comes together. You’re listening to Living the Freedom Life, this is episode 111 and today we are discussing Internal Unity.

A lot of times when I bring this topic up in a session, I’ll have a client say “Oh, yeah, youre talking about integrity.” My response to that goes something like this. Integrity is “the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles.” Even though that is an important quality to have, that’s not what we are talking about today. Internal Unity is something very different and more powerful than most people realize.

Have you ever “been in the zone” where everything just falls into place? I know, they seem to not come often, but when you have one of those moments, it really is breathtaking.

It’s kind of like when you listen to a really great piece of music and the musicians are in the groove, playing in the pocket, you know, the thing that makes your head bob up and down. It speaks to you in places that are deep. Some may say that they can “feel it in their bones”.

Another example is when you are good at something, in a non arrogant way, but you know you are doing it well and things are just clicking. You are “in the flow”. Yeah, we are here to talk about that. That’s Internal Unity

You see, let me explain what it means to have Internal Unity.

We are triune beings. In other words, there are three parts to us. No matter how you believe, gnostic, agnostic, atheists, pragmatic, diplomatic, it doesn’t matter. This has been proven time and time again by all types of studies.

Psychology Today published several articles on this topic

Columbia and Yale have scientifically found the place in the brain where we process the information of the spiritual realms

Anthropologists even publish their articles saying that we have a soul.

And if you want to go completely to “the World” to get your advice, Forbes says that being “in the flow” or having Internal Unity is making quite the comeback.

The Huffington Post claims to have found a scientific answer to whether we have a soul.

I have links in the show notes on all of these if you want to see them.

SO, I’ll say again, we are triune beings. This is fundamental to our worldview.

We have a Spirit, a Soul and obviously, a body.

I think most of us have attended 7th grade biology class enough to know the basics of the human body. Categories of systems: There are about 16 different systems that make up the functionality of your body. Now that’s just the biology part.

Our soul consists of the mind, will and emotions. There are several parts to it as well. Maybe we can discuss that in a later episode.

Lastly (but certainly not least), is our Spirit. Now, I know for some, this may be a touchy subject for you. That’s okay. Because deep down, this is just me and you talking here, deep down in the most darkest part of you, you know, the part where you get let down, your hurt, you don’t trust because you’ve been hurt so many times, the part of you that gets angry about God being so good. Yeah…that part right there. Even THAT part of you, knows that there is a God. Even if you feel like He is distant, somewhere overlooking your life, there is a part of ALL of us (yes, even Atheists believe in God, it’s just anger, misdirected) ALL of us know, deep down that we have a spirit.

Now, the reason I bring all of this up to you is because when ALL OF THOSE PARTS OF YOU are in the proper firing order, things just click. Everything just falls into place. In that moment, it just seems like the world is quiet and it’s like breathing. THAT is complete Internal Unity

Whaaaaaat?!?! Yeah, that is what we help people with. But, as we explain on our website, our 4th Coaching Concept requires willingness. If someone isn’t willing to take those steps toward Internal Unity, again, “How’s that been working for you?”.

See, some people experience that for a brief moment and then spend a huge amount of energy chasing after it. Unfortunately, that’s not how it happened in the first place.

Your life doesn’t get better by chance, it gets better by change.

When we feel the tug of something more, we have to be willing to deconstruct the habits we currently have. They turn into rituals and no longer serve us in our future capacity.
